Cafe Europa Wash Park area76 S. Pennsylvania St Denver, CO
See it on the BUZZ Coffee Map
What a cool spot! Bright vibrant colors, wood floors, comfy furniture, a patio, free WiFi, an GREAT steel and copper bar, and TONS of seating room. I stumbled upon Cafe Europa today by chance, and it is really a neat and unique place.

I would certainly recommend this spot. I only had an iced coffee and a scone, so I didn't get to taste their hot coffee but they do serve Allegro coffee, which is good (and locally roasted).

the previous owners were cliquish, unbalanced, resentful feminazis and no one mourned their not-soon-enough departure. but the current owners are such Dahhh-lings they've purged all the bad juju and made this long-stylin space (thru several owners, back to mid-90s Luna Tango days) thrive again like it should :D

Yeah, nice place. Too bad the free Wifi doesn't work reliably.
Cafe Europa a great place to spend an afternoon. I'm hoping for good things here. True Coffeehouse, If Europa had later hours and an Open Mic on weekends and this place would be perfect!
By the way, I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WIFI....
Cafe Europa is changing is some really good ways! We've got a new lunch menu, new breakfast items, and we've added tofu to the wonderful scrambles and omlettes we serve in the mornings!
On the coffee side, our new manager is from New Orleans and making some Southern style iced coffee that will hook you instantly! And milkshakes, coming soon!
We are also looking for artists to hang on our walls, and musicians to play during the summer. If you're interested, drop by the store.
Much better than the previous owners, and I even got along with them. Doesn't hurt that I've got a crush on Lindsey, either. But the Allegro coffee is consistent and rotated frequently, which goes a long way to a great coffee place.
Cafe Europa is once again (as of Sept) under new ownership. Our new hours are 6am-midnight, everyday.
We no longer serve Allegro coffee. We are using three local roasters, and have tons of variety.
The cookies are free when they are hot, and every once in a while we have a huge pot of gumbo....
this is a great place to study.
they open till midnite most nights.
comfortable sofas and seats all around.
free wireless internet.
the ambiance and architecture, i would describe as artsy and comfy.
i have tried about a dozen coffee houses in the greater denver area and this one is my favorite.
the food and coffee, i don't have much to say. that is a minor point because i am all about studying and not about eating or drinking.
bottomline. great place to study that is open late.
I thought there might be new owners, because of the change in the hours. What a positive change !I just had a great experience at Cafe Europa last night and recommend it highly for the coffee as well as the atmosphere. The counter servers are also really knowledgeable about coffee types in general, what a pleasant surprise!
cute! relaxed like a coffee shop should be...yummy paninis ;-)
Let's not clump the owners together, we all know Beatrice was a big flaming B-TCH but Ami and his brother were always kind. Thank god the ice queen is gone, best of luck to the cafe!
I loved the atmosphere here, plenty of room and couches. One question- Is there air conditioning? They had the ceiling fans going and the door open when I went. It was a bit to warm and I felt like I didn't want to stay to long because it was too hot in there.
This Saturday, the 13th of October,630 pm, Cafe Europa will host the first Kitchen Counter Culture Fest, presented by Liberty Window Cleaning. Come see short films, a set by Pat Porter, A zen arcade, and a sing along!
I have been the window cleaner for this spot since it was Luna Tango (with hiatus for the clique uber beasties)and am overjoyed to see Hydro and crew make such a great place with excellent coffee and fantastic food!
Wow! What a great cafe! I can't believe I hadn't been there until yesterday. The atmosphere is awesome and they have great coffee too!
The food and coffee here are great but way overpriced. My friends and I live in the neighborhood but avoid the place because of the slow and often rude service. The environment is blah and the art usually sucks. I'd rather go to Starbucks than deal with these pretentious fools.
I don't really know where everyone's getting the attitude from. It's cozy and quiet at Cafe Europa, but I don't make many demands of them beyond coffee or the odd pastry, so any "service" I've encountered is at the register. I'd recommend this place if you have a load of stuff to get done and want to feel calm while doing it.
And yeah, the art sucks. But so does most of the art hanging in public places (I'm looking hard at you, Paris on the Platte).
Quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. I like that its a little out of the way, tucked into the neighborhood. Service is always good, Heidi rocks.
