Please see my "to visit and to post list" below & add your recommendations by replying to this post.
Rather than only posting places I've actually visited, I'm going to start adding some of these spots so you can add your reviews, and then coming back to add pics and info when i have actually visited.
This post will become the new thread for suggestions. The other one was getting out of control long!

hi dcb
here is another great blog with the coffee theme.

http://www.ldvcoffee.com/ :)
How about givin' Mugs Coffee Lounge a try if you're up in Fort Collins. Don't be fooled, there are three in town but they are all locally owned and operated by a recent CSU grad. The ownership and management are all under 30 and bring a real youthful feel into the business. Check out the Old Town location for a great bottled beer selection and an two fantastic patios. Free WiFi at all three locations of course
I never thought I'd become a regular at a coffee shop but the food and coffee are that good! It's the kind of place you could take a first date or throw a wedding party. Freindly, great music and art but not overdone.5 stars.
Satchel's is the best..I'm so glad someone mentioned it. 28th and Fairfax in Park hill. The food that Drew (owner) makes is out of this world. A little bit of culinary heaven in a tiny little shop. You have to try the acorn squash lasagne. It's so good I get cravings for it. And the owner will make you feel at home.
It's a great feeling to see our place recognized on this list. My husband, Drew, and I opened Satchel's Market last August, and we're glad to have had such positive feedback. We would appreciate ANY feedback really! You can also visit Satchel's Market's website: www.satchelsmarket.com.
We serve illy coffee, which is Italy's premiere espresso brand. For you chai lovers, our Park Hill drink is the chocolate chai. One taste, and you'll be hooked! We will be featured in 5280 magazine in March 06. Again, we're thrilled you're thrilled.
In Englewood just up the street from the light rail station is the Mile Hi Coffee Company. I didn't notice it on your listing. It's an enjoyable place and easy to get to on the train. Their coffee really has a "kick."

When you get time you should check out SLAMS coffee and Tea Leaf located at Arapahoe RD and Liverpool Street. The carry coffee and tea from Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea and they have great customer service. SLAMS has free wireless, a fireplace and custom built tables with games such as Scrabble, Clue, Monopoly and of course Chess/Checkers. They also have a 50” Plasma for those interested in that kind of media. They also have live music. SLAMS also supports the local high school and community.
There is a coffee shop inside Denver Seminary in Littleton. It is called Kurios Koffee (www.kurioskoffee.com). It is open in the morning from 7-Noon and nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. It also has free wi-fi and some pretty rockin coffee.
Bonne Journee
Coffee, Cafe and Hookah Room
A new place opened on Jan 18 at 1800 So B'way on the north end of Antique Row by a middle eastern couple with an interesting story (which I get the impression you can't get out of there without hearing, but they are sweet folks). They ran an Italian restaurant in Westminster 10 years ago, went to Qatar for a while, came back to Denver and couldn't leave here again.
Nice comfy chairs & tables, local roaster, will have wifi soon, authentic middle eastern fare, hummus, pita, baklava.
They will have a grand opening soon. I'lll keep you posted after I visit the Hookah Room...
I enjoy the great, original, food, cheeses, desserts, and Illy coffee at Satchels' at 28th & Fairfax
The Daily Grind, located in the Tivoli at Auraria Campus. Has drinks and food. Not the best hours (open from 730am - 530pm) for non-students to visit, but I don't think that's the point.
As the owner (for 8+ years) of La Dolce Vita, which is in Arvada, not Aurora, I would love to have you come visit me sometime. We have wonderful cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls (sticky buns) and homemade biscottis and cookies, plus the best coffee and teas in the Metro Denver area!

Hi there all you Java folks! I wanted to tell you about a great coffee shop in Conifer (Aspen Park)
It's the Aspen Perk Coffee House. The have some of the best coffee around along with fresh baked pastries accompanying light breakfast and lunch fair. And on Friday nights they have live music that showcases acts from around the USA and abroad. They are a featured venue contact on a musicians clearing house called coffeehousetour.com check that site out...and then check out aspenperkcoffeehouse.com great site with downloadable mp3's of the owner's music...going up 285 for a day trip? You better stop by this place! The folks are very friendly...the service is great...and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting to patrons and musicians alike!
You've got to check out Aviano's, right across from Dazzle on Lincoln! Beautiful decor, incredible pastries, free WIFI. There's nice upstairs seating with comfy couches, too. They are open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday...
I was up to Aspen Perk Coffee House last Friday night to hear some open stage music. Wow!...I got to tell you...you should have heard the talent these folks are bringing in. Each act got to play a 30 min spot unlike other shops. There wasn't a bad act in the bunch!! There venue board is showing acts coming in from Europe as well as across the US and if they are anything like what I saw Friday...you folks better get up and see this place. Get there early because the place was packed!

also, http://www.latidadenver.com/ has been down for a while now, so i hope that don't mean the physical joint itself went under- i for one always appreciated how the barrrrristas there bothered to sport heels & impeccable makeup just to sling jav ;}
I would like to alert everyone to my new shop located at 955 Lincoln. We are open late (24 hours on Fri and Sat) have the best coffee, a great environment, and true French pastries. Look at my blog, or come in and mention that you read about it here, and I'll give you 50% off on your drink order.
Aviano, I've been to a lot of coffee shops in many parts of the world, and I have to say you guys have the best latte's I've ever had. Doug and Saadia, best of luck to the both of you.
I was in Denver last weekend, and checked out a new coffee shop on 12th and Madison, called Under The Umbrella, this was a great offeeshop, with fresh baked goods, baked right there in the shop, the breakfast burrito I had was wonderful. The shop also free WIFI, which came in real handy. Please check this place out!! Its located across from Domino's pizza on 12th.
anon: "Under The Umbrella"
-you mean Mr. Lucky's aka Flamingo&2Chicks has changed guise aGain? oh well, so long as it's still there :)
also, the former Mackey Art Gallery (25th & eliot- http://forums.sirstevesguide.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12480&d=1128789439 ) is rumored for imminent caffeination. rumored, that is, by the building's owner, who was smug enough to drop a frat-boyish "get ready for some competition" goad Shootin Star's way (3 blocks away)- as if he'd be the first comer; ask the former Cappuccino Cafe (speer & alcott) about that one (actually he first tried to talk SS into Relocating into his building so he could have his way with SS' current stellar venue) i spose he Will have One thing goin for him: if caffeine's not a patron's upper-of-choice it won't be hard to score what he Does seek, since a well-known drugdrop's right on mackey's doorstep ;) so Bring It On, Newboy; when yer joint's ready i'll be happy to give you a testdrive, but since money can't buy style Or vision, when it comes to the long haul i'll bet on SS every time >:]
Just to let U know that BLUTOSTE is closed. Hope she opens up in another neighborhood. Wired on Welton is closing soon. Lets try and support our local coffee shops, but maybe the market is getting saturated.
Hi,
there is a coffee shop next to Rosa Linda's on Tejon and 33rd ave (i think). Very nice with some pastry selections.
Water loo cafe opened on So Broadway. They have wi-fi and lots of seating.
The Tea Box, 3rd & josephine
House Of Commons (english tea), 15th st. & platte
a skate/snowboard shop at 32 s. broadway had a coffeebar in back ("Backside"), not sure if it's still there
downtown golden- not sure if these are still there:
Higher Grounds
a place in a stone castle near CSM
a tiny, narrow coffee/icecream joint along the main drag w/a distinct euro vibe
boulder:
Boulder Bookstore coffeeshop facing the mall
Prufrocks (on The Hill)
Buchanans (on Hill)
Burnt Toast (on Hill)
the starbucks on the hill sports a nice flatiron vista too ;)
and of course Dushanbe Teahouse :D
For the record:
The previous post incorrectly listed the "Boulder Bookstore coffeeshop". Although there is an open archway between the two, the coffee shop is a separate business named "Bookends". I know this to be true, but if you want proof, pass through the sensor that goes off if you enter the coffee shop carrying a book not yet purchased.
Not meant to be negative, I like the place, a great people-watching venue with great drinks and excellent desserts.
I'd suggest adding Urban Harvest in the Lowry Town Center -- an independent business run by friendly folks who make a great cup of coffee. Homemade baked goods, too!
Check out CJ's in Littleton-at Ken Caryl and Simms.
I'd like to recommend CJ's Coffee in the King Soopers shopping center on the corner of Ken Caryl Ave and Simms St in south Jeffco, just off C-470. CJ's has been there a LONG time and is characterised by GREAT SERVICE and a wide variety of coffees and pastries, as well as some breakfast and lunch items. I like a place where they know your "regular" order and start to get it ready when you walk in the door. Even though this is in a strip mall location, it has a friendly and comfortable ambiance.
Check out Sisters' Espresso at 2506 W Alamo Ave in Littleton. This small coffee shop is in a converted Victorian house near the Littleton post office and across the street from the Arapahoe Community College arts building. The customers are a wide range of college students, downtown Littleton workers, and folks from the Post Office. There are often customers speaking languages other than English. The coffees and pastries are good, although typical fare. The setting, including a porch and small deck for warm weather, are quite unique for the suburbs.
Check out Simply Coffee at Morrison Road and Bear Creek Blvd in Lakewood. The service is always friendly. The coffee always delicious. They will customize your drink any way you like it!
Super Joe Specialty Coffee is convienently located on the Northeast corner of the Superior Louisville exit on hwy 36 . The Decor is superb and the Breckenridge Coffee Roasters Espresso and coffee is coffee done right! Awesome sandwiches and baked goods too.
If you want great coffee and great product knowledge check out Peet's Coffee and Tea at 2nd and Columbine in North Cherry Creek. This San Francisco Bay Area import can't be beat for taste and staff always knows their stuff about coffee and tea. Peet's also works hard to buy directly from buyers as much as possible so more money goes back into the growers' communities making the business of growing coffee sustainable.
Coffee Angels
Littleton Colorado
Located on the North East corner of Belleview and Wadsworth. I think you'll be glad that you make the trip.
303-948-9755
I just got back from Australia, the cafe' scene is alive and well. True coffee bliss, the cappucinnos are creamy, rich, and full bodied, with a perfect dusting of chocolate powder. While having breakfast with my husband at the trendy, M Cafe', on Toorak Rd, in Melbourne. I complimented the barista on her drinks and mentioned I owned a Cafe' in Colorado, Julia invited me behind the bar and I was able to watch one of Melbourne's star baristas strut her stuff. I'm proud to say that my Cafe', Coffee Angels takes as much pride in serving quality drinks and frothing our milk to that luscious shiney finish that you experience in beautiful European and Australian Cafes'.
If your looking for an elegant and cozy Cafe' stop by and indulge yourself at Coffee Angels, voted best coffee house 2003 Top of the Town, 5280 Magazine. Hours 6:30-4:30 M-F 7:30-3:00 Sat
Closed Sunday
5066 S Wadsworth Blvd.
Littleton, Co 80123

How about taking a look at the Barking Dog Cafe in Lyons on Main Street. It is a cool and good feeling kind of place with great coffee drinks and home made muffins etc. It has all the chram of a local coffee shop...what a relief!! They have the usual amenidities but also serve bikers, hikers, and out door folks. Greig is a master coffee maker! He makes the best coffee drinks around. I go when I want to bike from Boulder or go to Estes Park. It is a bit hard to see but is on the Left hand side of Main Street just before the turn to Estes Park.
Here's another vote for downtown Golden. We have two very good places to check out:
Higher Grounds
803 14th Street
Golden, CO 80401
(Clean, friendly atmosphere and a favorite of CSM students. The kind of place to kick back and relax.)
Thirteenth Street Bake Shop LTD
1301 Arapahoe Street
Golden, CO 80401
(Best cinnamon rolls anywhere! This the the locals' hangout. Don't be surprised to see half of Golden city council at the next table.)
Check out Devil's Food Bakery on Old South Gaylord. As the name implies, it's more of a bakery than a coffee house, but has some tasty food and some chillin' space.
I'd like to echo another poster's comments, and suggest the many coffee shops in Boulder. As a student at CU who lives in Denver, I could definitely offer some reviews and pics to this site.
Crowfoot Valley Coffee in Castle Rock was the original. It's between Dream Pastries and Hooked on Books at the corner of Perry and Third in Castle Rock. Great for drop in or to spend an hour or two with a good book or friend.
Hey Guys wanted to give you a sweet coffee place in Parker where you can stop and enjoy some shade grown and sun dried tasty cup of smoky roasted java. Steaming Bean Coffee co. is a micro roaster out of Telluride that most west slope folks have known for years. They have comfy leather sofas and big comfy chairs, great selection of Udi's sandwiches and the ambience you have to experience to appreciate. Also have live music on Friday's and karaoke Sat. nite and if you are a home office person free wi-fi and a soothing atmosphere to make working more pleasurable. They appreciate us coming in and getting to know them.If your in Parker give yourself and your tastebuds a treat at the STEAMING BEAN. My personal fav's are organic mountain harvest and their Americanos made with their smokin' Black Canyon espresso. Enjoy

A new place in north Castle Rock is the Java Guru (4284 Trail Boss Dr., #100, 303-660-GURU (4878)) which has wonderful coffee, an extensive menu, free wi-fi, PLUS a roomy, attractive, comfy dining room. It's quiet and condusive to doing work on your laptop or visiting with friends. They also have a liquor license, and that makes it a great place to go in the evening as well. They often have live music on the weekends. It's a winner!

I'd like to hear your thoughts about the newcomer Lamb Shoppe. It's on E. 12th ave between Madison and Monroe. I haven't been in yet, but am looking forward to it! I think it's something similar to the former knitting & coffee spot "La-Ti-Da", (whose service always seemed a little bitchy!) Anyway, looking forward to a post about Lamb Shoppe.
p.s. Why won't you give anything away about your identity?
Have you stopped by the new S M L coffee house on approx. Speer and Washington? It's next to a dentist's office, as I remember. Anyway, the owner was a really nice guy, and the atmosphere is pretty cool. It's in a converted garage space, and he's decorated it kind of retro- style. The shop has a big garage door that opens, making it nice and airy. Looks like a comfortable summer hang-out.
SML Coffee just opened on the corner of Speer and Washington 702 E Speer Blvd on the Southeast corner of Speer and Washington in the Perfect Teeth building. Mon-sat 6am-8pm Sat & Sun 7am-8pm Later hours to come this summer. Free wireless internet. Coffee roasted by Seattle's Caffe Vita... Great pastries from Aspen Bakery
check out the link for pictures
http://www.myspace.com/smlcoffee
As the previous poster noted we have glass garage doors that open to make a truly unique urban patio. Mention the post and get a buck off any drink.
FYI: JET COFFEE
there is an place that opened where Blutoste was on Tennyson north of 38th Ave. Very friendly and stated that they would be open earlier in the morning to catch the commuters. Hope they do better!!!
Wanted to let you know (I posted it on your Crowfoot Valley Coffee post as well) that CVC in Highlands Ranch is now under new ownership and the name has changed to Timberline Coffee. They've severed all ties to Crowfoot.
Check out Big Sky Epresso Cafe in Wheat Ridge. Great place for family and friends
I am a big fan of coffee shops where they feature local musicians as well as artists and great coffee. I would love it if you could mention in your reviews if the coffee shop your reviewing has a stage/venue for musicians. Two great ones in the greater denver area are Nissi's Bistro and Music Venue in Lafayette (http://www.nissis.com/ ) and Everyday Joe's coffee house in Ft. Collins (http://www.everydayjoes.org/ ).
Trident cafe/bookstore (~1 block west of boulder pearl street mall), Emogene Patisserie et Café (2nd & josephine- http://forums.sirstevesguide.com/showpost.php?p=441655&postcount=609 ) and Nosh (1469 s. pearl- formerly G-Spot: http://forums.sirstevesguide.com/showpost.php?p=427711&postcount=526 ), all of which sport nice long hours- none of that closing-at-2pm Crap ;)
Gemini Tea's only catering now, but Cafe Karma just opened in hilo: http://karmasouljahs.com/ :)
Stay home and enjoy the best coffee in the country alterracoffee.com. Over 60 choices, amazing coffee.
I don't see the new Dazbog Coffee shop at Cherry Creek Drive North and Colorado Blvd in the Ptarmigan Office building. They just had a grand opening over the weekend.
I didn't see the coffee mentioned on the home page. I was surprised.
La Ti Da location's reopened as Gaia bistro/bakery, How Sweet It Is is now Dino's Soda Bar and Perk & Pub is open til 6pm 7 days/wk :)
Karma just opened up in lower highlands in northwest Denver. It is an organic cafe and coffee shop. They serve delicious vegetarian, vegan and raw/live breakfast lunch and dinner. Very cool place, comfortable vibe. Daily fortunes. www.karmasouljahs.com
there's a coffeebar in an antique shop at 25th & ames in edgewater; Tenn Street Coffee's xpanded summer hours are til 9 m-th, til 10 fri-sa and til 5 on sundays; also Jet stays open late on 1st fridays :)
Great site!
I've got another one to add to the list:
Daphne's Deli
4th & Corona
http://www.daphnesdeli.com
It's a great little spot w/ free wifi, tasty coffee, and really good deli sandwiches.
someone else mentioned the re-incarnation of Lucia's at 33rd ave & tejon -- now Cafe Mondo. decor is a bit too sterile but it's not terrible (they just need a red suede couch to balance out all the metal), and they do have wifi and good food. I've hung out there working for 5 hours, and they've always treated me well. the barrista Mary is wonderful -- very friendly & she remembered my drink after I'd be out of town for 2 months.
I notice that there isn't a page for Gallop (32nd & zuni). I'd only like an entry so I can tell folks to NOT go there (3 of my friends have worked there & quit b/c the owner is a nasty tight ass, plus they have wifi but don't want people to use it for more than 20 minutes. WTF?)
anyone (anyone who is NOT the owner, that is) have anything to say about Karma next to Lola's in "HiLo" (aka Yuppies are Taking Over My 'Hood) ?
haven't seen Gelman's mentioned anywhere on this site. w 38th ave, btwn federal & eliot. I've only been there once, but it seems nice -- good wifi & lots of electrical outlets, pleasant atmosphere, and they make hot breakfasts on the weekends.
I have been needing a site like this for years. Thank you.
I'd like to strongly recommend Blueberries Cafe in Littleton, on Littleton Blvd at Windermere. It's one of the stores in a strip mall that wraps around a large Savers store.
Very friendly people. Good DazBog coffee. Good food and sweets.

When you're in Downtown Denver Visit

Indepemdent Coffee Since 1994
I have not had the same issues at Gallop as tigger-grrl but I don't hang out there alot -- Common Grounds is too close and too welcoming so I usually go there. I have found the owners of Gallop to be nice, the food is tasty but a little over priced and the service is on the slow side. They do ask that you not use the wifi during their busy hours and that's really why I go elswhere but all in all it's a nice place.
DJ'd or JD's (or something like that) Internet Cafe on tennyson between 38th & 39th, next to/what used to be Berkeley Inn :)
There's a new one that opened the week of Aug 7th, 2006 called 'JC's Ground" - a Christian Coffee Shop and Ministry. It's on Champa between 15th and 16th St downtown. They have Bible Study for children and adults, Ministry to the hungry and to those who need it. Support a great cause and listen to live Christian Music on Weekends. :-)
Brand new to downtown Denver's coffee scene is JC's Ground, located at 1531 Champa (between 15th and 16th). They are a Christian coffee house and music venue. What is the Christian aspect of it? Well, its not your typical coffee shop where profits go into the owner's pockets. JC's doesn't quite do things like that. Here's why. At the shop they offer child sponsorship for poverty-striken kids in foreign countries, not because it benefits the store, but because it can change the world's poverty situation, once family at a time. The owner has taken on the store as his God-ordained mission to the church and to the world. Stop by and support the business. Its one of the only places that aren't all about profit, they are about changing lives all around the world while serving the most pristine cup of Joe in the city!
Coffee Shop For Sale
http://denver.craigslist.org/for/193901271.html.
My personal favorite (over Kaladi Bros ) is the
Coffea Rostir ( http://www.coffearostir.com/ ) in Aurora, located inside Carmine Lonardo's Italian Market at 15380 E. Smoky Hill Road, Aurora, CO 80015 (800.960.3289)
Steve micro-roasts batchs of beans (to order even!) and the coffee is awesome. A must try! My personal pref over the other 2 independant shops in the area..
Check out Novo Coffee House in Arvada next to Vitamin Cottage right around 72 & Wadsworth. Great coffee & espresso. It's a roasting company that has their own storefront. Their coffee and their equipment is the best, and some of the baristas are very knowledgeable about their coffees. www.novocoffee.com too.
Hello, as the owner of Java Guru in Castle Rock, I would like to ask that you check out our establishment. I have been waiting until we get our "new kid on the block" bugs worked out, cause we want to be up to the challenge of the coffee critics out there (many of whom can be brutal, but at least honest) If you can't learn and grow from critics, then don't get off the porch. Well we are off the porch and invite you to come by, 4284 Trail Boss, south of Pier 1 off of Founders. We have live entertainment most weekends, free wi-fi,food & pastry, full bar and $5.00 Martinis every Friday www.javagurus.net as well as a comedy night every third Saturday of the month, hosted by Rubi Nicholas,(she won Nick at Night's funniest Mom in America) We hope to see you all soon.
I saw just one recommendation for Blueberries in Littleton. This place is by far one of, if not the BEST shop in Denver. This guy used to own the two most popular shops in Breckenridge for years. It's a full on cafe, with some of the best food around, and the cranberry-orange muffins will make you drive from Thornton, (like I do!)
omigod! ditto on blueberries!!! I go to ACC in littleton, and this place rocks. It's new, but by far the most popular place in Littleton already.
hmmmmm . . . sittin in BB's right now, (FREE wifi, of course) guess the secrets out.
Peaberry Coffee Unofficial Pictures Page: http://www.quadrivial.de/
What a fabulous blog! I'm just bummed it wasn't around when I was living in the Denver area.
I'm surprised I don't see Vic's on your list, although I could have somehow overlooked it. There isn't technically a Vic's in downtown Denver, but if you're up in Boulder County, check them out:
2680 Broadway, Boulder
3305 30th St., Boulder
801 Main St., Louisville
Highway 287 & Pike, Longmont
I worked there for a year, and although it wasn't my first coffee job it was the best coffee job. I learned so much from the managers and my fellow baristas, and by the end knew most of our regular customers by name and drink. (A good portion of Vic's customers are regulars.) I worked there in 2004, and the last I knew the Vic's on Broadway offered free wi-fi.
I read your Seattle's Best review, by the way, and cringed. Trust me, that's not Seattle's best. The next time you're up here, try Caffe Ladro, Cloud City or my personal favorite, Caffe Zingaro. The only decent corporate coffee chain in Seattle is Tully's, in my opinion.
You have to check out two Castle Rock establishments...
Crowfoot Valley Coffee
&
Java Guru
Both are awesome, independent coffee houses that offer a ton for anyone to enjoy!
The Laughing Bean Cafe has been opened for a month. Every Saturday there is live comedy from 8:30 pm-1:00 pm. Fair trade Chiapas coffee is served everyday. Overall it is important to support small buisnesses. Did I mention that there is a full creper menu. It is right off of 9th and Santa Fe
Hey -
I have tried coffee shops far and wide in search of the perfect cinnamon roll, and one of my favorites is Sweet Rockin' Coffee on 20th Ave. near Park Ave. I think their baker left, but love the well-worn atmosphere. And, they have bands regularly.
dcb,
Coffea Rostir in Aurora, southeast corner of Smoky Hill and Chambers, is a coffee bar but soon to be moving to its own digs. Coffee is roasted right there every day. It's all specialty grade and the carry Fair Trade coffees, too.
Is Adagio bakery still open in Park Hill? I started going there early mornings in 2004 after Finster Bros. Bagel (who had great drip coffee) closed. It was a nice little hole-in-the-wall place to get a cup and a pastry and sit in the window watching the world go by. Nice Park Hill neighborhood, too - I didn't have to cross Colfax or Colorado or any of those other nasty superhighways to get there.
Enchanted Grounds Coffee - this is a new place on Colorado Blvd. between County Line Rd and Univeristy Blvd (just south of C-470 in a new strip mall).
There aren't many independent coffee shops in the 'burbs, so it would be nice to see what your opinion is of this one.
Check out the BSF Library Cafe just inside the Broadway entrance of the Denver Public Library. It serves Illy and Bel Etage coffees, French pastries, sandwiches, snacks, a little bit of everything. The proprietor, Maurice is very knowledgable about coffees, having chosen Illy as the best he has ever tasted.
Open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. Saturdays 8:30 to 5:00, and Sundays noon to 5:00.
I didn't see Java & Scoops listed. It's a small little coffee shop just down the street from our home. The coffee is so-so but they're espresso shakes are awesome! the owners are really nice as well.
Java & Scoops
3702 W Quincy Ave
Denver, CO 80236
Just want to make sure you go check out and list The Laughing Bean--opened recently at 10th and Santa Fe. Coffee, crepes, and standup comedy some evenings. Thanks...
Hey all,
CJ's coffee on Ken Caryl and Simms is, no was, a great place to get a mocha quickly in the AM, then start driving downtown. But they have lost their best morning man in James. Don't know where he went, but he had my mocha ready 2 minutes after I pulled in front of the door. It took me 25 minutes this morning and I had to walk out before they could get it done! NOTE TO SELF: Tip the good help because the bad help is really bad! COME BACK JAMES! Oh yeah, I can't stand Charbucks!
Cafe Sole in Boulder is my favorite. Awesome view of the Flatirons, lots of room and plenty of electrical outlets for computers, free wi-fi, real friendly staff, good coffee, sweets, and breakfast burritos and similar protein items. It's located behind King Soopers in Table Mesa.
I don't blame you for not listing Starbucks, and they don't have free wi-fi, but I have to say that the Starbucks in REI downtown is the most comfortable coffee shop I have ever sat in. It's high ceilings, beautiful architecture, ample electricity, and great furniture make it a fave for me.
