Alina and her husband Rick make drinking coffee not only delicious but fun as well! This coffee shop is family owned and run. Their son and daughter pitch in, learning the coffee trade from their parents.

Stop by on Saturday mornings, and you may get there in time to enjoy some real-time music played by a local musician, endulge in a chair massage or play a game of chess or checkers. There's also plenty of books to enjoy, a fireplace to curl up next to on the sofa, and seating indoor or outside on the patio.

If you are anywhere near Carino, skip the chain coffee shop, and stop in for some Latin flavor, Coffees, Lattes, or fruit smoothies, and grab a breakfast empanada while you are at it. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent coffee and great baristas! Friendly and they know how to brew coffee as it should be, consistently good! For a suburban independent coffee shop, this place has got their priorities straight, terrific coffee and no b.s. like some other independent shops can have. Keep brewing my coffee the way it should be and I'll continue buying. I'm very particular about my coffee and the experience I receive and I have been pleasantly surprised with Carino. Would like to see them grow organically and in other locales to share their coffee brewing bliss with the masses. I think the owner needs to take some time off though as she seems a bit overworked and tired at times, but appreciate her committment to a job well done.
